Many of its mechanical changes have been incorporated back into the game's vanilla version as part of patch 2.0.1. However, the overall gist is that players will find more different loot items more often. The response, generally, has been optimistic. "It's pleasing to have people reacting to cheap D2R Ladder Items modifications," Mayberry says, "and I think the changes are wonderful."
