The greatest product comes from Abyssal Lords which require the requisite 115 Slayer to OSRS GP take down. These huge demons drop a new melee weapon of tier92, The Abyssal Scourge. This is an update to the iconic Abyssal Whip that was first added to the older MMORPG nearly seventeen years ago. The successful attacks that are dealt with by the Scourge triggers an Abyssal Parasite effect, extending the duration of all melee bleeding abilities.
There are many other Lords that have interesting unusual drops too. It's not just the Lords that have unique drops. Abyssal Beasts (105 Slayer) deliver The Jaws of the Abyss Helmet, a tier 85 melee power armor helmet. Much like the various Abyssal Slayer creature's drop it enables the many bleed abilities found in RuneScape.
The weaker Abyssal Savage creatures which require 95 Slayer to kill do not have any unique drops. However, they will drop Abyssal armor spikes which are consumable additions to enhance existing Armor Spikes or the trimmed Armor Spikes. This drop can be obtained from all three brand new Slayer monsters.
While the Abyssal Slayer creatures are fascinating They won't make it to RuneScape for an additional 10 days. In the meantime is it time to begin acquiring your skills? The Double XP Live event is in full swing and will continue through February 28.
For the duration regular accounts be rewarded with double the experience on every skill. Each player has one hour of time to cheap RS gold use before the event closes. As is the norm, ironmen accounts cannot participate.
