However, regulations governing iPSC science differ worldwide and remain an active area of discussion. In the European Union and United States, the focus is on ensuring research safety and oversight while enabling therapeutic progress. Other nations take varying stances depending on cultural contexts and levels of economic development. As applications of iPSCs progress, harmonization of standards will become increasingly important to support worldwide research and the responsible development of regenerative therapies.
